When we designed the Adjustable Bracket, it was one of our requirements to be able to manufacture the parts on a large scale, efficiently and cost effectively. In order to do this we needed to engineer a solution that would minimize the amount of time it took to manufacture one unit without raising costs to the end user or compromising on quality. We decided that the best way to accomplish this would be to use the existing stock components and build these brackets around that, without having to reinvent the wheel. The Daymaker Brackets we manufacture are now built around your existing stock housing and components. In order to be able to upgrade your stock halogen headlight to a LED Daymaker, you will need to use certain components of your stock assembly. Continue reading below to learn more about the what is needed from your existing setup to be able to complete your upgrade.
The Adjustable Bracket is compatible with all Honda Valkyrie models from 1996 - 2003. This will not work on the Interstate models. This install is a zero modification install. You will not need to modify any component of your stock assembly. The adjustable bracket available for this model is only compatible with 7" Daymakers that have their mounting holes as shown below. Any other 7" Daymaker with a different bolt pattern than what is shown below will not work. We are working to include more style Daymakers to our line up in the near future. In order to be able to complete this install, you will need the following.
You will need the OEM Chrome Trim Ring, Stock Adjuster Metal Ring, Trim Ring Mounting Screws, and, the Flange Locking Nut from your Stock assembly. The approximate time to complete this install is around 30 minutes or less. Using this stock bracket, we will maintain adjustability in the Up and Down direction allowing you to aim your Daymaker according to DOT recommended standards.

The Only Style Daymakers that are compatible with our version Adjustable Bracket has the bolt pattern as show in the picture to the left. Any other Daymaker will not work with the Adjustable bracket. The Honda Valkyrie uses a 7" Daymaker. Only Kit V on our online store page will work. It is the brightest light we could find at 130W light output. At this time it is only available in Black. A chrome version at 105W is available and can be special ordered with a lead time of 2-3 weeks or less.
