For Yamaha Raider models Only, an H4 Dual 50W 6ohm Load Resistor is required. Failure to use a load resistor may result in unnecessary strain or damage to your electrical charging system.

This kit ships with the all new and improved v3 Adjustable Bracket. You do not need to purchase a bracket separately. This adjustable bracket mounts directly to your stock/OEM adjuster housing allowing you to upgrade to any daymaker in our product range and maintain full range of stock adjustability. 
Unlike other metal brackets that could damage your stock chrome trim ring from the combined weight of the metal bracket and daymaker, our fully adjsutable UV protected ABS bracket is lightweight and engineered with reliability, durability and manufactured right here in the USA. 
Unlike the non adjustable metal brackets, you will no longer need to shim your bucket to adjust for proper aim. You will now have full range of aim adjustability that will allow you to aim the daymaker beam exactly where you want it or aim it in accordance with  DOT standards and recommendations. 
 
Kit B3 does require some additional wiring to be able to complete the install. This wiring is not required for lo and hi beam operation, but recommended for DRL operation. The B3 kits have an additional red wire built into the daymaker, that controls the DRL ( two led strips on top and bottom of Daymaker face). This wire will need to be spliced into a +12v wire in order to turn the DRL on. The connection of this wire and operation of the DRL is not imperative to the operation of the Low and high beam lights. The low and high beam lights get their power from the H4 plug that plugs into your stock connector.  
 
Kit B3 is our premium tier level daymaker package for upgrading your halogen light bulb to an LED Daymaker. This Kit comes with everything you would need to complete the install.

  • This kit is our premium tier level daymaker. This daymaker has excellent low beam coverage. Side to side beam coverage is extremely wide and bright enough to light up the ditches and shoulders.  Low Beam pattern and coverage is better than any of our kits. High beam coverage tends to be lacking. The high beam pattern is a  small rectangular spot size that tends to aim up and is barely noticeable on open roads. The brightness of the low beam makes up for the poor angle of the high beam as most of our customers have said they have not needed to use the high beam at all. Overall this is our most popular and an excellent light for both day and night time riding.
